About us

Dr. Warrier is a medical oncologist at Johns Hopkins who specializes in caring for patients with high-risk and advanced skin cancers (e.g., melanoma, cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and Merkel cell carcinoma). This includes expertise with state-of-the-art immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and chemotherapy treatments, as well as optimal surveillance approaches for cancer. Dr. Warrier’s clinical practice is in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Warrier received his medical degree in 2017 from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where he graduated with distinction in research. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Michigan and spent an additional year serving as chief resident. He subsequently completed a Medical Oncology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University, where he also served as chief medical oncology fellow.

As a member of the Johns Hopkins Melanoma/Skin Cancer and Cancer Immunology Programs, Dr. Warrier is actively engaged in research focused on improving outcomes for patients with skin cancers. As part of his research, he helps develop and lead innovative clinical trials focused on developing better, and safer, cancer treatments and monitoring approaches. Dr. Warrier is additionally interested in improving cancer care delivery through digital health initiatives. He is currently helping lead study and development of a novel digital patient navigation platform aiming to help patients with melanoma around the country better understand their diagnosis, get connected with melanoma experts, and learn about clinical trials. 

In addition to his clinical and research activities, Dr. Warrier is a dedicated educator. Dr. Warrier is regularly engaged in teaching medical trainees and other health professionals. He has also published several manuscripts focused on patient education in JAMA Internal Medicine.
