Founded in 1908 as Granville Real Estate & Trust Co, Alexander H. Powell proudly built from the ground up one of the most respected small businesses in the Granville Co. During the first half of the century, he provided complete and comprehensive real estate and financial guidance for those who were seeking professional services. By the later half of the century Mr. Powell’s business and his staff had slowly evolved into a full service property and casualty insurance agency, now know today as Granville Insurance Agency Inc.
