About us
Gravitt & Gravitt, P.C. is a general practice law firm with four lawyers located in Halifax County, Virginia. In addition to Halifax we regularly practice in the courts in Pittsylvania, Mecklenburg, Charlotte, Campbell, Lunenburg, Danville and Nottoway. The firm was founded in 1983 by Alan and Carol Gravitt. Sterling Byrd-Roberts joined the firm in 1995, Matt Evans and R. Eugene Lindley, III joined in 2014. While the firm handles a significant number of divorce and family law cases, it also deals with the whole spectrum of cases that would typically arise in a small town practice, including personal injury, social security disability, criminal, traffic, collection, business organization, real estate, wills and estates, etc.
