The Great Blue Heron Furniture Company was founded by Fred Tammen in 1992. Today it is owned by his son, Mathew who runs the business out of his office and warehouse in Austin, TX. Our mission is to set the standard for quality and design in the western upholstery market. Although our portfolio has expanded over the years to include styles ranging from traditional western to contemporary, our dedication to quality has not wavered.
We source high-end leathers from around the world and produce our furniture here in Texas. We welcome our customers to customize our pieces, and as each piece is built to order, we can accommodate almost any request.
