Ladies, do your homework before visiting this doctor. He has a deplorable record with IHA and Aetna.
He performed a female exam without my informed consent. A nurse witnessed the event/incompetence. He was reported to both my insurance carriers. IHA discovered him amending my medical records 13 months after my last date of service. I had transferred my medical care.In September of 2008, NYS Department of Health cited IHA for being in violation of article 44 title 10. IHA's peer review board protected their provider/doctor, not the patient/member. A [HMO] IHA's board must disclose all information discovered about a doctor to the member.Aetna reopened my complaint on September 30, 2008 because they received new information about this doctor.
