Hailey Animal Hospital has been established since October 1, 1974; Dr. Tip R. Hailey knows that preventative medicine is very important in caring for our extended family members to keep them healthy & active. Our high quality of care, down home country compassion and love from all of our staff members for our extended family members, cannot be duplicated and plays a big part in our preventative medicine which has proven to be more successful than emergency medicine. At Hailey Animal Hospital, we recommend a puppy’s first vaccinations be given in four (4) increments; this allows the puppies system to slowly absorb it into their body creating a stronger barrier against disease. The increments are given starting at age 6 weeks (1st shots), 9 weeks (2nd shots), 12 weeks (3rd & rabies) and 16 weeks (4th & bordetella). At this age Dr. Hailey will recommend Heartworm Preventative for your puppy to protect against the Number 1 killer in our canine family, heartworms, which are transmitted through mosquito bites. Hailey Animal Hospital also recommends annual wellness exams, heartworm tests and dentals. Hailey Animal Hospital also offers these other services, Digital radiography, Lab diagnostics and temporary homes for your extended family members when you go on vacation throw a party/Bar-B-Q or just want/need a break. We have space for your kittens/puppies all the way up to your large breed canines for a comfortable stay with us. No need to worry about them getting homesick, our awesome staff will keep them occupied, played with and walked every day, plus in the unlikely event they should become ill you have the comfort knowing Dr. Hailey is only a dog whistle away.
