I just recently had the Japanese straightening and Brazilian keratin treatment done and I must say that the result is far beyond what I accepted to be good judging from the work of other salons. Not only were the workers comfortable to converse with, their expertise is unmatched and the prices are pleasantly low.. Definitely will be going back with three other friends so that we can receive the genius bring-four-one-free discount!

I was new to all this, didn't even know this was possible. I was recommended by my co-worker because she knows i have frizzy puffy crazy hair and I would always just try to squeeze everything in a huge bun.
Well, so i had thought about for a few days and decided to just go for it. I live at the end of Long Island, so it took awhile to get there, and once I got there, huge, clean looking salon, but many customers.
Well as soon as I walked in i was lead to go wash my hair, very friendly may I say, and after the wash I was sat down for maybe 5 mintues and they asked me many questions, if I had done any coloring, or any type of chemically processes done on my hair before. But i've never had done anything. So they told me the price, no suprise, exactly what my coworker had said and they started working on my hair.
After waiting with the cream in my hair for almost 40 minutes they came to test my hair and went to go wash my hair right out. Came back and sat back in my seat, and started drying my hair.
That's when I got very nervous, while drying my hair, it came out frizzier then before, and my hair just was a huge afro, so I had to ask is this the results. and they gave me a smile and said we didn't even start and told me not to worry. So after they fully dried my hair, I waited patiently while they were flat ironing small sections of my hair. Maybe took about 40 minutes of straightening, and I thought I was done.
But yet again, they told me we aren't done and they said it was time for a neutralizer and they put this other white cream on my hair, and left it in for about 10 minutes and they said last wash so i was feeling excited now that I was almost done. After the wash, they dried my hair again, and now when they dried my hair, it was frizzing up it was becoming very smooth and straight. It was perfectly straight and had such a nice shine to it. I was very happy with it
Although it took about 4 hours which i was notified from my coworker and took me about 2.5 hours to get there, it was all worth it at the end, Now after a week of the process done, my coworkers and I always laugh about how I didn't do this sooner and just always tried to stuff my hair into a huge bun. Now i just have it all down without having to worry about anything.

i had the japanese straightening done a couple of times, and it was my first time at hair club.
they know wat their doing the last places i went to i was okay with but after i got it done here it was the best.
they explained to me everything i had to know, they notified me that since i color my hair at home it might not come out very even, and some places were gonna come out bit dried, but nothing like that, they spent time on my hair checking it every few minutes, i liked it they paid attention to my hair while still working on tons of other customers. very professional. and now that i wash my hair today there's no dried parts it dried perfectly fine and i'm 100% satisfied.
and even if it did come out dried in a few places, i wouldn't be able to complain at all, first off they did notify me, and second they were very friendly and you just can't get mad at them!! excellent excellent excellent!! i recommend EVERYBODY, really the best.

THE BEST SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN AT. My hair is exactly how i wanted, maybe even better. I got the thermal reconditioning done and it is the BEST! I've had it done maybe 4 times before and never had it done this nice. I have gotten it done in upstate NY before the past few times but wasn't as good as i thought it would be but this place just amazed me! Definately going back worth the 2 hour drive!!! They were so helpful and so professional i really love my hair!!!

I got the JHS treatment yesterday & I have to say that I am very unhappy!!! First of all I was burned in two places, one on my neck & the other behind my ear with the chemicals. NOT once did anyone from this salon say I'M SORRY, not once! I was only told don't worry, you're OK, you are having an allergic reaction (if this was the case, then why didn't I have these burns all over my head!), when you get home put ice water on it... I guess when you aren't the one in who is burned & in pain it's easy to brush it off. I was also asked them prior to making my appointment if it was an issue that I colored my own hair & the answer I rec'd was no. Well apparently it was. I was also told that the JHS would cost $130 & when I got there they told me $150, which they then brought down to $140. Then much to my surprise I was told I had very dry, damaged hair!! NOT AT ALL & they tried selling me a $30 glaze type of thing to add into the JHS. I didn't take it & good thing every single person that came into the salon for either the JHS or BKT were told the same exact thing as me. We all had such damaged dry hair. It was a sales pitch! Then when I went to pay I was told if I don't pay cash - if I used my debit or credit card that I would be charged 4% more. Nowhere in the salon is this listed! I also told them that I wanted my hair to have some lift so i wanted them to start the straightening below my roots...but they were not happy to do this. The very last thing the lady did when I was finished was put some type of goop in my hair that made the ends wet & YOU CAN'T WET YOUR HAIR FOR 2 DAYS!!! Needless to say some of my ends crimped!!!! I do not recommend this salon nor will I ever go back. In fact I see that there is a 100% money back guarantee & since I am not happy I would like my money back!
