The perms that Dawn (at Hair Designs by Dawn) gives me last and last - like almost for a year, and they look great. I really wish my hair was lighter and my mom and I keep wanting to bleach our hair or get highlights put in, but Dawn just won't do it for us - she's concerned about our hair because she doesn't believe it's strong enough and she knows our hair will be ruined if we do that; even though she could make more money, she just won't do it. That's how much Dawn cares about our hair. She's a great lady! -------

See, my hair is really thin and when she does my hair she's very careful to cover the balding areas. She is just an awesome person. Anytime someone needs a hairstylist, I tell them to go to Dawn because she will make sure your hair is strong enough before she does any hair treatment and she'll know what kind of perm and color and other products to use to make your hair look really good. She's very health-conscious. I'll tell ya, your hair will look so much better when you leave than when you came in. :) ---------

She's always up on the latest techniques, too, and she's not greedy either. Her prices are really reasonable. I have sent many friends to her who paid WAY more to someone else (who had wrecked their hair) and then Dawn fixed it, and did it the right way the NEXT time they came in for cheaper! ---------

Another thing about Dawn that I just have to mention is that she is so one with God that she just glows and when I am having my hair done by her it's really like a spiritual renewal. I walk out of there feeling spiritually fulfilled because of her faith. She doesn't even have to say a thing - - she radiates love and kindness. She is an awesome lady!
