Hana Iris Lim, M.D.
About us
Hana I. Lim, M.D., M.S. is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Lim treats patients with inherited and acquired non-malignant blood disorders and has a special interest in caring for those with bleeding and clotting diseases. Dr. Lim’s research focuses on understanding the hemostatic (bleeding) and thrombotic (clotting) issues in people with liver diseases. Dr. Lim received her B.S. and M.S. degree from Lehigh University. After receiving her M.D. degree with high honor from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Dr. Lim completed her internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Lim served as a chief resident from 2017 to 2018, and also as a chief fellow during her final year of hematology and oncology training. Dr. Lim was awarded the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Training Award for Fellows for her research in coagulation abnormalities in liver diseaseduring her fellowship.
