The hand is one of the most complex and unique portions of the human body making hand therapy an art as well as a science. The in-depth knowledge of up-to-date techniques and active experience can only be offered by a hand therapist certified by the HTCC (Hand Therapy Certification Commission). Certified Hand Therapists use their specialized skills and education to assess injuries and subsequently plan treatment and therapeutic interventions to get the patient back to how life was pre-injury.
