In the early 1970s, it was a tradition for W.C. Hinze to barbecue every Sunday at his home in Wharton, Texas. While the aroma of pecan smoke filled the air, there were plenty of family members waiting around to partake in the delicious meats that would come from that little homemade pit that was so well used. Rosemary, his wife, would be in the kitchen perfecting her "Famous" BBQ sauce and other delicious delicacies, like pinto beans and potato salad, that are made the same way and are just as good today as they were 35 years ago. Here at Hinze's, we strive to carry that same quality and goodness that you could expect to find on the family table so many years ago.

Hinzes BBQ and Catering specializes in pecan smoked meats, homemade desserts, and a delicious array of home style sides along with freshly baked homemade bread. We are located at 2101 Hwy 36 South in Sealy, TX.....just south of IH-10. We cater parties, weddings, reunions, and other events. Our famous brisket is smoked a minimum of 16 straight hours on our pits for that just right taste. Along with our numerous types of smoked meats and homemade BBQ sauce we offer hand battered chicken fried steak and chicken. Catfish, shrimp, burgers and fries and BBQ stuffed potatoes add to the long list of entrees that is sure to please and served each and every day.
