His Grace Senior Living Center has been in operation since 2016 under the direction of Charleene Hollowell. Charleene comes from a family of educators, both her mother and father taught elementary school and so did she and her sister. The 4 of them together have over 100 years of teaching experience combined. Charleene was an educator for 10 years in Los Angeles Unified School District, and had a Texas state licensed daycare for 7 years, where she taught children to read, write sentences, add & subtract all before Kindergarten. It was during this time when she had a state licensed daycare that she became interested in senior care. When she opened His Grace Senior Living Center she actually began to take in a few seniors in her home 1 or 2 while still operating her daycare. She loved seeing intergenerational activity and how it brought smiles to both the young and old. However, as time went on she chose to close her daycare and cater to the seniors in her community.
