I went in today (I was looking for beginner RC plane) and was greeted by the cashier and one of the guys from the back of the store. Staff was very professional and personable, plus they are very helpful and friendly. I'm a bit of an idiot when it comes to this stuff and I always appreciate how they walk me through any questions I have. I can hardly count the number of times they have gone out of their way to demonstrate a new RC for me. They answered all my questions and weren’t pressuring me into buying something more expensive then I had too. Hobby Town is pretty cool and has a huge inventory and tons of stuff, the prices is great too. Oh, and they have those realistic plastic pellet guns too. I highly recommend this store, if you are an avid rc enthusiast, this is a great Bay Area hobby shop.
