Homeward Bound Animal Hospital

Homeward Bound Mobile Veterinary Clinic, P.C., was established in 1998 by Dr. Keri L.Jones. Originally based out of a converted motorhome, we opened a stationary hospital in Arvada in 2006, but still maintain our housecall roots. While the hospital is now the majority of our busines, we will always offer housecalls to our patients in need. Our hospital in Arvada is a converted farm house and still maintains its quaint charm. We find that the look and feel of the clinic has some bearing on the anxiety level of our patients, so we try to maintain as 'homey' an appearance as possible for our hospital. At Homeward Bound, your pet is not a case number but a member of the family. Dr. Jones has 16 years experience treating companion animals, from emergency and critical care, to surgery, to geriatrics and palliative care. While we do treat young pets, diseases and pain management of older pets is our specialty. In 2008, Dr. Jones became one of the first vets in the country to achieve advanced certification from the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Jones is also the author of IVAPM's pain guidelines and a book chapter to be published in 2012 on pain managment in hospice and palliative care patients.
