She completed residency in general surgery at the Yale University-affiliated program at St. Mary's Hospital and completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Creighton University. Anorectal disorders include: Hemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, hidradenitis, anal dysplasia and cancers as well as pilonidal disease (performs cleft closure). She utilizes minimally invasive techniques, both laparoscopic and robotic for abdominal and pelvic surgery. Dr. Rasque has a special interest in pelvic floor dysfunction and GI wellness for the treatment of constipation and fecal incontinence. A detailed evaluation is conducted using dietary history forms and in office anal manometry to develop a personalized treatment plan for each patient. She is a pioneer in anal cancer prevention. She was the first colon and rectal surgeon in the Atlanta area to offer office anal pap and high resolution anoscopy for the prevention of anal cancer.
