Howard Family Law

A Family Law Specialist, Anne B. Howard started her legal career working as a paralegal in entertainment, real estate and family law. She eventually decided to attend law school and earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Howard worked full-time for the San Diego Superior Court as a judicial secretary and later as the drug court coordinator for the San Diego Superior Court, Juvenile Division.

After passing the bar exam, Ms. Howard worked for The Law Offices of Beatrice L. Snider in San Diego for several years. In 2003, Ms. Howard realized her goal of opening her own law firm, The Law Office of Anne B. Howard, in Carlsbad, California. Ms. Howard is a family law specialist currently licensed to practice in the State of California and in the U.S. District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California.

With over 20 years experience, Ms. Howard is devoted to family issues. With caring and compassion, she has helped hundreds of San Diego area clients with their family law disputes working to resolve issues including, but not limited to: restraining orders, divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support/alimony and property division.

Experienced both in and out of the court system, Ms. Howard serves as an attorney appointed by the court in Probate matters. She is a Barrister in good standing of The American Inns of Court Foundation and is a professional member of the Bar Association of Northern San Diego County and the San Diego Bar Association. In 2013, Ms. Howard was recognized for her outstanding service to the San Diego Superior Court and for her outstanding dedication and service in efforts to support the purposes of the Bar Association of Northern San Diego County.

Ms. Howard has an astute understanding of business. This understanding benefits all her clients especially those who are small business owners. Raised overseas, Ms. Howard brings a keen awareness of both national and international business issues to her practice.
