The Hospital Sisters of St. Francis founded HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital 148 years ago in a small school house in Belleville. Today, St. Elizabeth's is one of the oldest and largest health care providers in Southwestern Illinois, offering specialized services unique to the community in a technologically advanced facility in O'Fallon.
