About us
Dr. Mayfield is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the United States Medical Licensing Examination. He is licensed to practice medicine in the states of Tennessee, Alabama, Ohio, and Kentucky. He is affiliated with StoneCrest Medical Center, Physicians Pavilion, and maintains courtesy affiliation wit Southern Hills Medical Center.
Dr. Mayfield completed a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Cincinnati Sports Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2004. He did his Residency and Internship in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama. He was awarded his Medical Degree in 1998 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
