About us
Dr. Hussam I. Issa is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a subspecialty in infectious diseases. He joined CLS Health on January 1, 2009. Dr. Issa earned his M.B.B.S. from the Faculty of Medicine at Jordan University in Amman, Jordan. He completed his internal medicine residency and internship at the Scranton-Temple Residency Program in Scranton, PA, where he was recognized with multiple honors, including the Professionalism Award and the Recognition Award for his achievements as Chief Medical Resident.
Dr. Issa further specialized in Infectious Diseases through a fellowship at Brown Medical School in Providence, RI. Throughout his career, he has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Dean’s Teaching Excellence Award, Excellence in Teaching Award, and the Golden Stethoscope Award for Best Resident as a Teacher. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Issa's commitment to high-quality patient care, teaching, and professionalism has made him a trusted physician in his community.
