About us
Dr. Jung was born and raised in South Korea until he moved to Texas in 2006. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at University of Texas Health San Antonio. He completed his training in general surgery at University of Texas Health San Antonio and Texas Tech University at Permian Basin. Dr. Jung is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American and Texas Medical Associations, and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. He currently practices general surgery, acute care surgery, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, surgical oncology, and endocrine surgery. He provides high-quality surgical care to the community. He speaks Korean as his first language, and is actively studying basic/medical Spanish.
