THE ILLIANO'S J&P RESTAURANT STORY BEVENUTI! WELCOME! Illiano’s J&P Restaurant in Hampstead has been in business for over 30 years. The original New York J&P Pizza started in 1979 and the J&P were the initials of the original owners. New York J&P in Hampstead opened its doors in December 1983. Back then, the store was only 1,200 square feet in a small shopping center next to a video store and High’s. Eventually, the store expanded into the video store. A few years later High’s left and New York J&P took over the building and grew again. In 2004, a new shopping center was built around the restaurant in the Illiano Plaza. The menu has also expanded over the years and the name changed to Illiano’s J&P Restaurant. The J&P was kept so people could still recognize the name.
