About us
In business since 1969, Interport is a shipping container company based in Newark, NJ. Our facility spans 50 acres adjacent to the Port of New York and New Jersey, offering one of the largest inventories of new and used shipping containers in the Northeast, with a dedicated modification shop on-site allowing us to create custom shipping containers for any need. Interport’s prime location in NJ enables us to serve 15 states in the Northeast, from Maine down to North Carolina, and as far west as Ohio. Our service area covers the tri-state and other major metropolitan territories, including NJ, NY, PA, MD, DE, CT, RI, VT, NH, MA, ME, OH, WV, VA, NC, and Washington D.C. metro.
