About us
Isaac Mitchell, MD, earned his medical degree from The Bowman Gray Center for Medical Education in Winston-Salem, NC. Following medical school, he completed a general surgery internship and his orthopaedic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Institute. Dr Mitchell has joined the UF Health-Leesburg orthopaedics staff and is a member of The Regional Physician Network. Prior to joining the team, he served in various leadership roles at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, including department of surgery chairman and chairman of the orthopaedic department.
