Italy is one of the major exporters to the United States of wine, cheese, pasta, water and extra virgin olive oil.

In the first six months of 2022, the greatest contributions to the annual growth of national exports derive from the increase in sales from Lombardy to the United States (+ 37.1%), and from Emilia-Romagna to the United States (+ 47.6%).

The provincial export analysis shows positive performances for almost all the Italian provinces: the highest positive contributions are found for Milan, Ascoli Piceno, Syracuse, Turin, Brescia, Vicenza, Modena, Cagliari, Parma and Bergamo.
