J.McLaughlin's Tallahassee store is located in the Market District at The Gallery on Market Street. The Market District is just tucked off Thomasville Road near the I-10 freeway. Tallahassee is Florida's capital city, a fun and family-friendly place to be. Despite huge increases in regional population over recent years, Tallahassee hasn't lost its southern charm and hospitality as well as its deeply-rooted family ties. Even though the city is located in Florida, the landscape lends itself more toward the scenes of South Georgia as it boasts canopy roads and springtime azaleas. The Summer brings a lot of heat, driving vacationers and seasonal homeowners to find a relaxing reprieve. When in town, check out Sage Restaurant for lunch or dinner, and only just a short walk from J.McLaughlin. They offer an eclectic seasonal and multicultural menu showcasing the best local produce and seafood Tallahassee has to offer. For a more scenic experience, stop by Au Peche Mignon in Market Square to grab some delicious French breads, cheeses, and desserts made for a picturesque picnic at Maclay Gardens. After lunch, take a stroll through the Market District and visit the many unique boutiques and shops available. Our personal favorite is Bedfellows, a luxury bedding and gift shop that has been a Tallahassee staple for over 40 years.
