About us
An internationally-recognized leader in the field of retina, Jaclyn Kovach, MD, is an accomplished clinician, researcher, and educator who has published over 100 book chapters and peer-reviewed articles and has presented her impactful research on the genetics of age-related macular degeneration and retinal imaging in over 150 lectures around the world. She is the founder of a clinical trial center, a medical retinal fellowship, and a retina case conference. A role model and influential mentor, she created Luminaries: Profiles of Women in Academic Medicine, a book of autobiographic vignettes written by 24 colleagues to inspire the next generation of women physicians/scientists.
