About us
James Chan is a founding member of Compass Hawaii and a seasoned Realtor. With over 20 years of industry experience, he’s a highly trusted broker in Hawaii luxury real estate.
James began his real estate career in 2002 as an appraisal assistant, where he developed a strong foundation in property valuation. He later transitioned into sales, becoming the youngest Partner at Locations LLC. As a founding member of Compass Hawaii, he was instrumental in the firm’s early growth and local market presence.
Outside of real estate, James is the co-founder of Rizen Hawaii, a community-focused organization that has raised significant funds for children’s nonprofits, including Make-A-Wish Hawaii and Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii.
