About us
Dr. Cowart completed his undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University and earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1997. He then completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, serving as chief resident in his final year. A native of Greer, Dr. Cowart was delighted to return home and join Greer OB-GYN in 2001. His special interests include general obstetrics, laparoscopic and vaginal surgery, and infertility. Dr. Cowart and his wife have two children. In addition to time with his family, Dr. Cowart enjoys playing tennis and running.
