James McCormick, DO

James McCormick, DO, is a surgeon at AHN Surgery Institute specializing in colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and digestive conditions. He is skilled at performing colorectal surgeries, bowel reconstructive procedures including sphincter preservation and j-pouch, complex pelvic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and robotic surgery, as well as transanal, endoscopic, and endoluminal surgery.

Dr. McCormick earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and received additional training through a fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. McCormick welcomes patients ages 18 and older.
