About us

Jamie Blavat is licensed in optometry. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned her doctor of optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry-Chicago. She completed her residency at SSM Health Davis Duehr Dean Eye Care-Madison.

Blavat's practice is focused on anterior segment disease and medical contact lenses.

Dr. Blavat is a recipient of the Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Care and the American Optometric Foundation Practice Excellence Award. She is also a Gold Key National Honors Society recipient.

In her free time, Dr. Blavat enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking, and outdoor activities.

My emphasis is on a team approach. I listen for patient's concerns and visual demands; from there my goal is to educate them about their conditions and the available treatment options. I encourage my patients to be active members in their eye care decisions. - Jamie Blavat, OD
