Hello, I'm Jana Berends-Sletten, a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in healthcare. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in diverse areas of medicine, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of patient care.
My journey in healthcare began as a Registered Nurse/Paramedic in emergency medicine, where I learned to handle high-pressure situations and developed a deep respect for the urgency of patient needs. As I advanced in my career, I became a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Practice and Urgent Care, allowing me to provide a broader scope of care for individuals of all ages.
