About us
Jana HealthCare is an internal medicine and weight loss clinic located in the heart of the diverse Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. The clinic has been open for over 20 years with Laila Farhat, MD, at its forefront. Dr. Farhat is a passionate internist, weight loss specialist, and obesity medicine specialist who radiates a positive energy, inspiring each of her patients to better themselves and their health. Dr. Farhat grew up in a quaint village in Lebanon. After graduating high school in 1988, she moved to Madrid, Spain, to pursue her medical degree at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Facultad De Medicina and eventually become a doctor. Once she completed her medical degree in 1994, she soon moved to the United States.
