About us
I was born in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to becoming an OB-GYN, I received my undergraduate degree from Williams College and my M.D. degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. I remained at Georgetown for my OB-GYN residency training. Before becoming an OB Hospitalist at Shady Grove Medical Center (SGMC) in 2015, I was in private practice in Northern Virginia for 25 years. I was a Governor-appointed Member of the Virginia Board of Medicine from 2004-2013 and served as its President from 2009-2010. I am currently proud to serve as a Member of the SGMC Medical Executive Committee.
