As a nurse practitioner in the general cardiology clinic, I am a partner in my patients' health care journey. I enjoy assisting them and their families to understand their conditions. Together, we make treatment decisions to achieve the their health care goals. I worked as a bedside nurse before becoming a nurse practitioner, so I explain procedures so my patient knows what to expect. Then they are more at ease and less intimidated about a procedure.
