About us
Dr. Hefner earned his medical degree and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama, School of Medicine in Birmingham. Board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Hefner is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Hefner was in practice in Woodstock, Georgia. He also was a member of the American College of Physicians and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama prior to moving to Georgia. In his spare time, Dr. Hefner enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and going to church. He welcomes most major insurance plans.
