Jay's Limousine Service in Downtown, Honolulu is GREAT!
We used them for a tour around the island and the driver was very knowlegable about the history and culture of the island.
It was about the same price as a tour bus but only your party was riding with you and not with a whole lot of people and they are flexible about stopping along the way for pictures etc.
I would highly recommend them over a tour bus if you want a private and very informative tour of the island.
