About us
JayVon Muhammad has been a community health leader, advocate, and midwife for more than 20 years. Her previous roles include: Vice President of FQHC Services for Aspire Indiana Health. President and Chief Executive Officer of RAMS, a large and innovative mental health provider in San Francisco, CA., Adjunct Faculty for Bastyr University's Midwifery Program, Chief Executive Officer of SWLA Center for Health Services (SWLA), a five-site Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Chief Executive Officer of the Marin City Health and Wellness Center (MCHWC), a six-site FQHC focused on African American health equity.
