Jeffrey T. Steitz, MD, is a double-board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck at Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina.
A graduate of Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri, Dr. Steitz completed his residency training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He then completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Illinois-Chicago, under renowned rhinoplasty surgeon Dean Toriumi, MD.
Dr. Steitz's clinical interests focus on revision rhinoplasty, primary rhinoplasty, rib cartilage grafting techniques, complex nasal reconstruction, mohs reconstruction, otoplasty, facial reanimation and cosmetic/reconstructive facial surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and serves as a peer-reviewer for the Facial Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine journal.
