Philosophy: I understand that coming to therapy can be scary. This is why it is important to me that each person who walks through my door feels safe, comfortable, and accepted. I consider it an honor to hear your story and empower you during difficult times. My style of working with individuals is holistic in nature, understanding that there can be many causes contributing to a presenting problem or issue. I tailor my approach to meet each individual’s unique needs. Together, we will create an effective plan that facilitates self-awareness, growth, empowerment, and a healthy change you so desire.

Experience: I have a wide variety of life experiences I bring to therapy as a counselor, author, and coach. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and families in various clinical settings such as residential/day treatment programs and domestic violence shelters. I have also provided health and wellness workshops throughout the Treasure Valley with sports teams, schools, and businesses on topics including authentic leadership, the mind-body connection, emotional intelligence, building compassion/resiliency, teambuilding and more. Currently, I work in private practice as an integrative health coach helping people discover the innate power within them for natural healing and vibrant whole health, while collaborating with physicians and their patients providing integrative coordinated care. In my spare time, I enjoy writing and creating. I am the author of a book entitled, “Discovering The Best Me I Can Be!” and developed Meanings In Motion’s - Character Building Life Skill Cards as a way to promote fun ways to develop leadership and life skills with children, ages 6-14 year of age.

Personal: I enjoy time with my children, family and friends. I love animals, yoga, photography, spending time in the great outdoors, traveling and meeting new and interesting people from all walks of life.
