About us
Jerod Lunsford, MD is an Emergency Medicine physician with special interests in advanced wound care and diagnostics. Originally from Guymon, Oklahoma, Dr. Lunsford completed a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physiology at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Lunsford attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Palmetto Health Richland hospital and became board certified in Emergency Medicine in 2010. Dr. Lunsford now works full time in Advanced Wound Care. He is certified to oversee Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy when needed for certain indications. Dr. Lunsford has specific interest in hard to heal wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers, vascular ulcers, pressure ulcers, post-surgical wounds, and burns.
