I am a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of clinical expertise as a registered nurse across diverse healthcare settings, including the Intensive Care, General Medicine Step-down, Medical and Oncology, and Medical-Surgical units. Having cared for patients in the Caribbean and the United States, I have developed a profound appreciation for cultural diversity and its impact on healthcare delivery. This exposure has cultivated my empathy and strengthened my ability to provide holistic care, positioning me as an ardent patient advocate. I am particularly drawn to Genitourinary Cancers and Oncology Acute Care, where I aim to support patients through their significant challenges and explore the complex emotional and psychological dimensions of cancer survivorship. My deep commitment to continuous professional growth is reflected in my voracious reading habits, which fuel my intellectual curiosity and further enhance my clinical expertise. In addition to my passion for advancing healthcare knowledge, I am committed to bridging communication gaps through language learning, currently focusing on Korean, Spanish, and American Sign Language.
