About Dr. Grant John A. Grant, M.D., F.A.C.S, is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in pediatric neurosurgery, with an interest in vascular neurosurgery and epilepsy surgery. Dr. Grant completed general surgery internships in Dublin and at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He completed a neurosurgery residency at the Neurological Institute of New York at Columbia University and a pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Children’s Memorial Hospital. In 2013 Winthrop-University Hospital appointed Dr. Grant director of pediatric neurosurgery.
