About us
Dr. Coiner completed his undergraduate studies at Hampden-Sydney College. He earned his medical degree at the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed residency at East Carolina University. He is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Coiner is a skilled robotic surgeon and specializes in high-risk pregnancies.
Dr. Coiner has received his focused practice designation in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS). This designation recognizes his additional expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgical techniques gained through clinical experience and formal training.
When he is not practicing medicine, he can be found sailing or at the beach with his wife and two children. Dr. Coiner holds a private pilot license, enjoys multiple outdoor activities, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
