John Halphen, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained geriatrician who focuses on the health and well-being of older adults. He enjoys working with patients and their families to find optimal solutions to complex problems. Halphen has expertise in treating various conditions and diseases that affect an aging population. His areas of clinical interest include elder mistreatment, mental and cognitive decline, end-of-life issues, palliative medicine, and wound care. He’s also a professor of geriatric and palliative medicine with McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
