About us
Dr. Schnars graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science in Pharmacy from the University of Georgia in 1993. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia, where he earned his medical degree, finishing at the top of his class, and completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic residency. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After completing his residency in 2002, he moved to Jasper to meet the growing orthopaedic needs of the North Georgia community. He treats a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and specializes in hip and knee replacement, as well as fracture care. Dr. Schnars believes in pursuing leading-edge technologies and offering an advanced approach to orthopaedic care to maximize results and minimize healing time. His mission is to provide the highest quality of orthopaedic care in a warm and personalized setting. Dr. Schnars is accepting new patients and welcomes most insurance plans.
