About us
Jolt Engineering is a specialist commercial solar, energy storage (BESS), and EV charging infrastructure design firm. We provide PE-stamped, permit-ready plan sets for EPCs, developers, and contractors across all 50 states.
Founded in 2017 by Chad Buccine, P.E., Jolt was built to solve the problems he experienced firsthand as an EPC client - code-compliant designs that fail in the field, offshore drafters with no local code knowledge, and engineers who won't pick up the phone.
We are US-based, licensed in 20+ states, and have completed 1,800+ commercial projects. We optimize for the site, not just the code.
