About us

Jon Jansen, MD, received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. He went on to receive his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed a residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Dr. Jansen is board certified in general surgery and treats patients of all ages. In addition to general surgery, he specializes in laparoscopic surgery and outpatient surgery, with a focus on colon, gallbladder and hernias. He is a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, and Indianapolis Medical Society.

Dr. Jansen is married and the father of three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, water sports, and overall fitness and nutrition.
