About us

Jonathan Murrow, MD earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in 2001. He completed his internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2004 and cardiovascular fellowship training at Hopkins and Emory. He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard College. Prior to joining Piedmont Athens Regional Cardilogy, Dr. Murrow was in practice at Athens Regional Medical Center. Dr. Murrow is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. He is also a member of the American College of Cardiology. He also serves as the Campus Associate Dean of Research for the Augusta University - University of Georgia Medical Partnership in Athens. In his spare time, Dr. Murrow enjoys traveling and gardening. Dr. Murrow welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
