About us
Joplin Floor Designs has truly been a family business for over 50 years. The business started as Hukill Furniture and Carpet in Seneca MO in 1962 by Denzil and Lillian Hukill. Denzil and Lillian ran the business until 1992, when their son, Duane Hukill, bought out the business and moved it to Joplin – renaming it Joplin Floor Designs. Duane and his wife Holly are the current owners and are carrying on the tradition set forth by Duane’s parents. Duane feels the success of Joplin Floor Designs has come from the values that he was taught by his parents, and is still evident in the business today. Give the customer what they want; quality products at reasonable prices, with personal service and no gimmicks.
