Jose Ventura, MD, CMD, FAAFP, SFHM, is a board-certified family medicine, Board Eligible Geriatric Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician and founder at BThere Healthcare, a telehealth and house-call model practice serving patients in the state of Maine. Dr. Ventura is an experienced healthcare leader, skilled in developing treatment plans and strategies to enhance patient wellness. Dr. Ventura attended the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador for his doctorate in medicine. He relocated to the United States to pursue his internship and residency training in family medicine at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. During his final year of residency, he served as a chief resident.
